A native of Castorland, N.Y., Mollie Lehman played softball at Binghamton from 1996-00. She graduated with a degree in mathematics in 2000 and went on to earn her MBA from University of Colorado Denver in 2007.
After working in athletics administration at Binghamton and the America East, Lehman joined the staff at the Western Athletic Conference in 2007. She is the senior associate of commissioner of finance and administration. Lehman oversees the day-to-day conference operations, including business, compliance, student-athlete services, media relations, championships and human resources. In addition, she has chaired two NCAA committees: Division 1 Softball Committee and the Division 1 Honors Committee.
In her time at Binghamton, Lehman was a two-time all-region selection. She led the softball team to the postseason all four years, including a paid of NCAA trips, and she graduated holding six school records, including career batting average (.379), runs scored (111) and hits (170).
She was also named to the NCAA all-tournament team in 1998 after lifting Binghamton to the finals of the NCAA East Regional and a No. 11 national ranking.
Lehman anchored the team in its transition to NCAA Division II status in 1999, hit .376 as a senior, and led the team to an ECAC Mid-Atlantic Championship crown. Lehman also received the John Bilos Award in 2000 for career achievement.
