Anna Harris joined the athletics communications staff in August 2023.
She came from Eastern Michigan, where she served as an athletic media relations assistant during the 2022-23 year. Among her responsibilities were serving as primary contact for two sports, secondary contact for EMU football, content creator for multiple sports and platforms and being the primary statistician for volleyball, basketball and women's lacrosse.
A Long Island native, she is a 2022 graduate of Ithaca College and earned a bachelor's degree in sports media. Harris was a Dean's List and Lambda Pi Eta Honor Society member. As a student she served as president of the Association for Women in Sports Media, coordinating initiatives and events for members in step with the national organization. She also worked games for for ESPN Ithaca and the Ivy League Digital Network, posting social media video and written content. In addition, Harris wrote for The Ithacan, which covered Ithaca College's high-achieving sports teams.
Harris was awarded the Ann Liguori Foundation Sports Media Scholarship by New York Women in Communications in 2020.
