Joe Licata of the Men’s Lacrosse team has been named the Miller Auto Team athlete of the week for May 1st. The sophomore from Holtsville, NY earned the honors after scoring the game-winning goal for the Bearcats in a sudden death victory over Stony Brook last Friday. The win also secured Binghamton a post-season berth for the first time since 2014. Licata has started and played in all 14 games this season and is currently second on the team with 17 goals and 28 total points.
