Freshman Dan Pergel shined in his collegiate debut at The STAR Group Binghamton Championships.

He went 3-0 in his flight for singles and won the championship match in straight sets. He and partner Sebastian Quiros also won a pair of doubles matches on the weekend.

Pergel and the rest of the team enjoyed a solid start to the season, and will look to build upon that effort at the ITA Northeast Regional hosted by Penn on October 17.
