Collins fired a complete-game, three-hit shutout to lead the baseball team to a 5-0 Game 1 win at Maine on Sunday. He struck out seven and recorded the first BU solo shutout since 2019. Collins retired 10 straight Black Bears hitters at one point and lowered his season ERA to 0.53, which ranks first in the America East and fourth in the nation.
