Senior defender Nicole Scudero doubles as the Miller Auto Team Student-Athlete of the Week and the America East Defender of the Week after an exceptional week for the women's soccer team. Scudero scored the first two goals of her career out of the back line - a brilliant 20-yard shot against UMBC followed by a game-winning header to beat Hartford. In addition to her offensive contributions, Scudero anchored a Bearcats back line that posted a shutout and only allowed one goal in 180 minutes of soccer during BU's 2-0 week that catapulted them into second place in the America East standings.
