Joe Doyle took a leap in the heavyweight rankings this week, thanks to a tough win over No. 21 Brandon Metz of North Dakota State. Down 3-2 late in the third, Doyle put Metz on his back for a takedown and four near-fall points to win 8-4. He also picked up a major decision over Edinboro's Max Millin. The senior jumped seven spots in InterMat's rankings (No. 29 to No. 22), and sits at 6-2 on the season.
