Newman won America East Offensive player of the week for her incredible performance against Bryant last Saturday. Newman tallied a career-high 11 points, including four goals and seven assists. Newman broke her own BU single-game record for assists, which she set earlier this season. The 11 points scored by Newman are the most by any Bearcat player in a single-game this season, and second all-time in program history.
