The first recipient of 2023-24 is BU volleyball player Tsvetlina Ilieva who recorded 32 kills, 26 digs, nine service aces and five total blocks to lead Binghamton to a Bearcat Classic title and earn herself a All-Tournament MVP nod this weekend. Against Duquesne on Saturday, Ilieva put up her first double-double of the season with a team-high 17 kills and 12 digs, the seventh in career at BU. In the team’s 3-0 sweep of Merrimack Friday night, she posted a .364 hitting percentage and combined for a .284 percentage in all three matches.
