Women's Basketball Heads to Colgate

STORY LINES

- Binghamton (1-6) lost 52-48 to NJIT on Saturday. Freshman guard Imani Watkins scored a game-high 19 points while senior forward Sherae Swinson finished with 14 points and nine rebounds. 

- For the season, Watkins leads the Bearcats with 15.6 points per game. Freshman point guard Jasmine Sina is second on the squad with 12.4 points per game while Swinson is third with 12.2 points. Swinson also leads the Bearcats with 7.8 rebounds per contest.

- Colgate (0-7) lost 67-48 to Albany on Saturday. Jose Stockill led the Raiders with 13 points. Carole Harris is averaging a team-best 11.3 points per game while Stockill is adding 10.4 points per contest. 

- Binghamton and Colgate square off for the first time in six years. The Bearcats lead the all-time series 7-5, having won the past seven matchups. Most recently, Binghamton won 66-41 at Colgate on Nov. 19, 2008. 

- The freshman duo of guards Imani Watkins and Jasmine Sina have combined for three America East Rookie of the Week honors so far this season. Watkins was selected on Nov. 17 and Nov. 24 while Sina was the pick on Dec. 1

- Binghamton's 90-84 win over Delaware State on Nov. 15 was the first under new head coach Linda Cimino. She arrived from Caldwell (N.J.) College where she led the Cougars to a 128-100 record in eight seasons. This includes a 90-52 mark in her final four seasons.
