STORY LINES

- Binghamton (4-17, 2-6 AE) lost to UMBC 71-55 on Wednesday night at the Events Center.  Junior guard Kim Albrecht had a team-high 19 points, while freshman guard Jasmine Sina finished with 13 points, and a career-best eight rebounds.

- For the season, freshman guard Imani Watkins leads the Bearcats with 14.9 points per game, which ranks sixth in the America East. Freshman point guard Jasmine Sina is second on the squad and eighth in the conference with 14.6 points per contest. Senior forward Sherae Swinson is sixth in the America East with 7.2 rebounds per game.

- UMass Lowell (8-12, 2-6 AE) defeated Vermont 72-63 Sunday afternoon. Senior guard Shannan Sameuls finished with a game-high 25 points while senior forward Jasmine McRoy finished with 10 points and 10 reobounds to record her second double-dobule of the year.

- For the season, Samuels ranks third in the conference with 15.1 points per game.  UMass Lowell currently leads the conference in three-point field goal percentage (.332) and is second in scoring (64.6 ppg.).

- The all-time series between Binghamton and UMass Lowell is tied at 3-3.  Last year, the road team won both games with the Bearcats taking a 65-64 decision on Jan 7, and the River Hawks winning 65-54 on Jan. 30.

- The freshman duo of guards Imani Watkins and Jasmine Sina have combined for six America East Rookie of the Week honors so far this season. Watkins was selected on Nov. 17, Nov. 24 and Dec. 22 while Sina was the pick on Dec. 1, Dec. 29 and Jan 5.

- The Bearcats have reached the 70-point mark in scoring five times this season. Their season-best of 90 points came against Delaware State on Nov. 15.
