SCOUTING NJITNJIT (0-0) opens its season having gone 12-17 in 2014-15. The Highlanders return two starters and seven letterwinners from last year's squad. Junior center Leah Horton led the squad last season with 10.1 ppg and 6.6 rpg.

WORTH NOTINGBinghamton has now posted the season's first America East Rookie of the Week selection in each of the past two seasons. In addition to Carmody, Watkins was the choice last season.
The home court of Bearcats is now officially known as the Dr. Bai Lee Court at the Events Center. The naming is in honor of his recent million-dollar donation to the Binghamton Athletic Department.
