STORY LINES

Binghamton (2-5) lost 67-65 at Brown last Thursday on a buzzer-beating shot. Sophomore forward Alyssa James, who leads the Bearcats with 15.9 points, 7. 9 rebounds and 2.9 blocks per game, scored a game-high 19 points and grabbed seven rebounds against the Bears.
 
Sophomore guard Imani Watkins added 18 points, eight rebounds and a season-high seven assists against Brown. Freshman guard Rebecca Carmody netted 14 points and had six rebounds while senior guard Kim Albrecht finished with 11 points.
 
Watkins ranks second on the team with 14.3 points per game. She is also averaging 5.2 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.9 steals per game. Senior guard Kim Albrecht is averaging 11.0 points per game and is .390 from beyond the three-point arc (16-of-41).

Colgate (1-4) defeated LIU-Brooklyn on Saturday night behind a career-high 23 points by Josie Stockill. Paige Kriftcher currently leads the Raiders with 15.0 points per game while Stockill ranks second with 14.2 points per night. Randyll Butler is first on the team with 10.4 rebounds per game.
 
The all-time series between Binghamton and Colgate is tied it 7-7. Last season, the Raiders won 74-55 against the visiting Bearcats on Dec. 10. Sophomore guard Imani Watkins finished with 18 points and five rebounds. At the Events Center, however, the Bearcats are a perfect 2-0 against Colgate.
 
Freshman guard Rebecca Carmody, who was named the America East Rookie of the Week on Nov. 16, continues her solid rookie season. Through seven games, she is averaging 8.9 points, 5.7 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.7 steals per game. 

Binghamton has had a player reach the 20-point mark in scoring four times in six games this year. Sophomore guard Imani Watkins has hit it twice while sophomore forward Alyssa James and senior guard Kim Albrecht have each done so once.
