- Watkins currently ranks third in the America East with 17.2 points per game. She is also third with 4.4 assists and fourth with 2.5 steals per game. James ranks fifth in the America East in scoring (16.3 ppg.) and fourth in rebounding (8.7 rpg). She also ranks first in blocks per game with 3.1. Albrecht is averaging 11.6 points per game and ranks first with a .402 three-point field goal percentage as well as a .909 free throw percentage.
- UMBC (11-8, 2-4 AE) lost 65-57 at Hartford last Thursday. Laura Castaldo netted a game-high 20 points while Pandora Wilson, who leads the Retrievers with 12.6 points and 6.9 rebounds per game, added 14 points. UMBC leads the America East with 10.4 steals per game.
- Binghamton leads the all-time series against UMBC 15-11 but the Retrievers have won the past four meetings. Â Last season, UMBC won 71-55 at the Events Center on Jan. 28, 2015 and 73-50 in Baltimore on March 1. The Bearcats' last win in the series was a 66-57 triumph on Jan. 30, 2013.Â
- Binghamton has won its past three road games, a streak it last achieved from Jan. 15-23, 2011. The Bearcats also have as many conference wins this season (four) as they did during the past two seasons combined.Â
