Women's Basketball Hosts Misericordia in final non-conference game of season

STORY LINES

- Binghamton (4-8) lost 64-57 at Cornell last Wednesday night in its final game of 2015. Sophomore forward Alyssa James posted a team-high 19 points to go along with eight rebounds and a pair of blocks. Sophomore guard Imani Watkins added 16 points and five assists. Senior guard Kim Albrecht chipped in 12 points while freshman forward Rebecca Carmody finished with eight points, eight rebounds and a game-high four steals.
 
- James ranks third in the America East in both scoring (17.4 ppg.) and rebounding (8.4 rpg) and is first with 2.7 blocks. She also ranks No. 22 in the nation in blocks per game and has posted five double-doubles. 

- Watkins is fifth in the America East in scoring (16.2 ppg.), fourth in assists (5.1 apg.) and third in steals (2.3 spg.). Senior guard Kim Albrecht is averaging 10.9 points per game and is third in the America East with 2.1 three-point field goals per game.

- Misericordia is located in Dallas, Pa., competes at the NCAA Division III level and is a member of the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC). The Cougars (3-9) most recently lost a 63-57 decision at Geneseo on Saturday. Justine Seeley leads Misericordia with 15.1 points, 10.4 rebounds and 3.0 blocks per game. 
 
- Binghamton and Misericordia square off for the first time in women's basketball program history.

- The Bearcats are currently 4-0 at home this season. Including its Nov. 6 exhibition game against East Stroudsburg, Binghamton has won all five of its games at the Events Center this year.
