STORY LINES
- Binghamton (0-2) lost 57-48 at Yale on Sunday. Redshirt sophomore
Jasmine Sina finished with a game-high 16 points while junior guard
Imani Watkins added 11 points. For the season, Watkins leads the Bearcats with 18.5 points per game.
- Penn (0-1) was defeated by Duke 68-55 on Sunday. Michelle Nwokedi finished with a game-high 24 points while Sydney Stipanovich added 14 points and 12 rebounds. The Quakers are the defending Ivy League champions and have advanced to the NCAA Tournament twice in the past three seasons.
- This marks the first meeting between Binghamton and Penn in women's basketball. Binghamton head coach
Linda Cimino and Penn head coach Mike McLaughlin, however, are no strangers to coaching against each other. McLaughlin was the head coach at Division II Holy Family -- which competes in the Central Athletic Collegiate Conference (CACC) -- until coming to Penn in 2009. Cimino, meanwhile, was the head coach at Caldwell University (another CACC school) from 2006-14.
- Penn is one of five Ivy League teams the Bearcats face during the non-conference schedule this year. As a conference, the Ivy League was ninth in the RPI index last year. In addition to facing Yale on Sunday, the Bearcats have upcoming home games against Brown (Nov. 27), Columbia (Dec. 10) and Cornell (Jan. 1).

Imani Watkins ranks No. 17 all time in program history. She is 14 points away from tying Alicia Koppenhoefer (1994-98) for 16th place all time.
- Junior center
Alyssa James currently has 96 career blocks. She is four rejections away from becoming just the fourth player in program history to reach the 100-block mark.
- Redshirt sophomore
Jasmine Sina enters the game against Penn with 95 three-point field goals. She needs 10 more three pointers to tie Emily Szewczyk (1998-02) for 10th place all time in program history.
