STORY LINES

- Binghamton (1-2) won 61-48 at defending Ivy League champion Penn on Wednesday night. Junior guard Imani Watkins, who is averaging a team-best 21.0 points per game, poured in a game-high 26 points against the Quakers. Redshirt sophomore guard Jasmine Sina added 16 points while freshman guard Kai Moon pulled down a team-high and career-best 10 rebounds.

- Providence (2-0) defeated visiting North Dakota State 86-63 on Wednesday night. Maddie Jolin came off the bench to lead the Friars with 18 points, making 6 of 11 shots in the process. Jovana Nogic is averaging a team-best 17.0 points per game while Jolin is pumping in 16.5 points per night. Providence opened up the season with a 93-86 double overtime victory over Colgate on Nov. 11.

- Binghamton and Providence meet for the first time in women's basketball program history. The Friars are the first team from the BIG EAST the Bearcats face since they traveled to Xavier on Nov. 28, 2011.

- As a team, the Bearcats have averaged only 9.7 turnovers per game so far this year. On the other end of the court, they have recorded 11.7 steals per contest, including 16 in Wednesday's win against Penn.

- Junior guard Imani Watkins enters the game against Providence with 966 career points, which ranks No. 16 all time in program history. In 15th place is Sherae Swinson (2011-15) with 985 career points. Watkins is 34 points away from becoming the 15th player in Binghamton program history to reach the 1,000-point mark.

- Junior center Alyssa James currently has 96 career blocks. She needs four more rejections from becoming just the fourth player in Binghamton program history with 100 career blocks.

- Redshirt sophomore Jasmine Sina has 99 career three-point field goals. She needs one more trey to become the 11th player in program history to reach the century mark. Sina also needs six more three-point field goals to tie Emily Szewczyk (1998-02) for 10th place all time in Binghamton program history.
