Women's Basketball Starts Four-Game Home Stand Against Hartford

STORY LINES

- Binghamton (10-14, 5-6 AE) lost 64-58 at first-place Albany on Monday night. Sophomore guard Imani Watkins poured in a game-high 22 points and senior guard Kim Albrecht finished with 21 points.

- Watkins currently ranks fifth in the America East with 16.3 points per game. She is also fourth with 3.8 assists as well as 2.4 steals per game. James ranks sixth in the America East in scoring (15.3 ppg.) and is fourth in rebounding (8.0 rpg). She also ranks first in blocks per game with 2.9. Albrecht is averaging 12.2 points per game and ranks second in the conference with a .427 three-point field goal percentage. In addition, Albrecht currently first in the America East and second in the NCAA with a .917 free throw percentage.

- Hartford (9-14, 5-5 AE) lost 45-42 to visiting Stony Brook on Monday night. Katelyn Skinner led the Hawks with 11 points 

- Hartford leads the all-time series 24-9 but the Bearcats won the first meeting of the season, 53-47 at Hartford back on Jan. 13. Sophomore guard Imani Watkins scored a game-high 19 points. Rebecca Carmody added 15 points while sophomore forward Alyssa James finished with 12 points and 13 rebounds.
