Alyssa James had 18 points, 10 rebounds and a game-high four blocks. In the process, she recorded her eighth double-double of the season. With the victory, the Bearcats have now tripled their win total from last season.
- Watkins currently ranks fifth in the America East with 16.0 points per game. She is also fourth with 3.8 assists as well as 2.4 steals per game. James ranks sixth in the America East in scoring (15.0 ppg.) and is fourth in rebounding (8.0 rpg). She also ranks first in blocks per game with 3.1. Senior guard
Kim Albrecht is averaging 12.1 points per game and ranks second in the conference with a .434 three-point field goal percentage. In addition, Albrecht also ranks first in the America East and second in the NCAA with a .921 free throw percentage.
- UMBC (17-10, 8-6 AE) won 74-60 at Vermont on Saturday to record its fourth straight victory. Taylor McCarley, who ranks eighth in the America East with 14.7 points per game, netted a game-high 26 points against the Catamounts. Pandora Wilson added 21 points. McCarley also ranks second in the conference with 5.3 assists per game. Â Â
