STORY LINES
 
- Binghamton (13-15, 8-7 AE) defeated UMBC 70-56 on Wednesday to finish 10-3 at home during the regular season. Sophomore guard Imani Watkins scored a career-high 30 points and grabbed a career-best 15 rebounds. Freshman guard Rebecca Carmody, meanwhile, finished with a career-high 22 points.
 
- Watkins currently ranks fifth in the America East with 16.5 points per game. She is also fourth with 3.8 assists as well as 2.4 steals per game. Sophomore forward Alyssa James ranks eighth in the America East in scoring (14.8 ppg.) and is fourth in rebounding (7.9 rpg). She also ranks first in blocks per game with 3.0. Senior guard Kim Albrecht is averaging 11.9 points per game and ranks second in the conference with a .427 three-point field goal percentage. In addition, Albrecht also ranks first in the America East and second in the NCAA with a .915 free throw percentage.
 
- Binghamton is in the midst of its best season since finishing 19-12 during the 2010-11 campaign. The Bearcats have already won more conference games (eight) than they have during the previous two seasons combined (four).
 
- Maine (23-7, 14-1 AE) has won its last 11 games, including a 50-44 victory at Hartford on Wednesday night. Sigi Koizar, who ranks third in the America East with 17.5 points per game, finished with 15 points against the Hawks. For the season, she also ranks third in the conference with 3.9 assists per game.
 
- Maine leads the all-time series 17-13, having taken a 52-38 decision at the Events Center back on Jan. 30. Sophomore guard Imani Watkins and freshman guard Rebecca Carmody each finished with nine points.
