COLLEGE PARK, Md. – Senior outfielder 
Sydney Harbaugh drove in a pair of runs and junior outfielder 
Gabby Bracchi scored twice, leading Binghamton (8-8) to a 4-2 win over UMass (6-15) in the second day of the Maryland Softball Invitational.
Bracchi scored on Harbaugh's sacrifice fly in the bottom of the first inning, putting the Bearcats ahead 1-0. Two innings later, Bracchi tied the game at 2-2 when she scored on a RBI single by Harbaugh.
 
In the bottom of the sixth inning, sophomore 
Tia Smith and sophomore designated player 
Kate Richard each singled home a run, putting the Bearcats up 4-2.
 
Freshman pitcher 
Makenzie Goluba tossed 3.2 scoreless innings and did not allow a hit in her first decision of the year. Megan Colleran dropped to 5-9 with the loss.
 
Senior catcher 
Lisa Cadogan went 2-for-3 with a triple.
 
Binghamton was scheduled to face Boston University at 1:30 p.m. but the game was postponed until Sunday -- at the same time -- due to rain. The Bearcats will then face the host Terps at 4 p.m.
