YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y.—The Binghamton women's lacrosse team (4-5) squared off against No. 18 Ohio State (8-1) today, losing by a score of 10-5. The non-conference matchup was held at Yorktown High School.
The Buckeyes scored four of the first five goals, but the Bearcats battled back in the first half.

Sophia Racciatti,
Jacqueline Kennedy, and
Rebecca Golderman scored as the Bearcats cut the Ohio State lead to 6-4. The Bearcats would go into the half trailing 8-4.
The second half was a defensive stalemate, with both teams combining for just three goals. Golderman scored the lone Bearcat tally, her second of the game. The freshman also tallied a team-high three draw controls and five shots.
Erin McNulty played the second half in net, making seven saves to keep the Buckeyes at bay.
The Bearcats return to action on Tuesday, March 29 when they welcome Cornell to the Bearcats Sports Complex.
