VESTAL, N.Y. - Binghamton women's soccer (4-5-2, 0-1 America East) looks to regain its winning form when BU hosts New Hampshire (4-4-2, 1-0 AE) in an America East tilt at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Bearcats Sports Complex. Â
After producing a 3-1-1 stretch earlier in the month, the Bearcats have dropped three straight, including a 5-0 setback in the team's conference opener Sunday at Hartford. Binghamton will try to rekindle an offense that compiled eight goals in its first eight games but has been held without a goal over the last three.
Senior forward Leigh Ann Bennett and sophomore forward
Jocelyn Acor share the team lead with two goals and five points. Redshirt junior midfielder
Michele Galvin has a team-high three assists and five points as well.Â
Junior keeper
Katie Hatziyianis holds a 1.13 goals against average and an .803 save percentage.Â

New Hampshire, which returned eight starters from 2015, has gone 2-4 after starting its season unbeaten after its first four games (2-0-2). But after a pair of narrow losses to Harvard (2-1) and Northeastern (2-1) to end its non-conference slate, UNH opened league play with a resounding 4-0 home win over UMBC.
Reigning America East Midfielder of the Year Brooke Murphy leads the team with seven goals and 16 points. Senior keeper Mimi Borkan has a 1.15 goals against average and a .838 save percentage.Â
The Wildcats lead the all-time series 6-5-6. Last year, UNH roared to a 6-0 win and is unbeaten in the last five matchups (2-0-3). The last BU win in the series came on the road in 2011 (1-0).Â
