MANHATTAN, N.Y. – Sophomore midfielder Miles Burbank and senior back Zach Galluzzo each scored a goal, powering Binghamton (2-0-2) to a 2-0 win at Manhattan (0-3-0) in a non-conference men's soccer game on Monday night at Gaelic Park. With the win, the Bearcats are unbeaten through four matches for the first time since 2007.
Burbank scored for the second time in as many matches. In the 31st minute, he took a pass from redshirt junior back
Charlie Novoth in the box and scored from six yards out. It was Novoth's second assist of the season.
Galluzzo, meanwhile, finished off a corner kick by sophomore midfielder
Harrison Weilbacher in the 58th minute. It was his first goal of the season and Weilbacher's second assist of the year.
Binghamton outshot Manhattan 18-6 for the game. The Jaspers played a man down for the final 81 minutes of the match after picking up a red card.
Redshirt freshman goalkeeper
Alejandro Cubillo made a pair of saves in recording his second shutout of the season. It was also his first career shutout victory.

Kevin Flesch lowered Binghamton's goals against average this season to 0.67.
"I thought our guys were very good tonight with the soccer ball," head coach
Paul Marco said. "We created a lot of good chances and continue to do very well on our set pieces."
Binghamton heads to the Northern Illinois Tournament this weekend. The Bearcats open up play on Friday with an 8 p.m. EST game against the host Huskies.
NOTES: Burbank and Weilbacher each lead Binghamton with four total points … Binghamton started the 2007 season 5-0-0, winning each time by a 1-0 score … of the Bearcats' six goals this season, three have been scored on either a free kick or corner kick ... the Bearcats as a team are averaging 1.36 goals per game so far this season. They have outscored their opponents 6-3 through the first four matches of the season.
