STORY LINES

- Binghamton (8-10, 3-2 AE) lost 67-61 to Albany on Thursday night at the Events Center. Junior guard Imani Watkins poured in a game-high 23 points, marking the third straight night she has scored at least 20 points. Freshman guard Kai Moon netted a career-high 16 points while junior center Alyssa James added 10 points. Senior forward Kristin Ross grabbed a team-best eight rebounds.

- Junior guard Imani Watkins ranks first in the America East and is No. 26 in the nation with 19.6 points per game. She is also first in the conference and No. 61 in the nation with 2.4 steals per game. Redshirt sophomore guard Jasmine Sina and Watkins are tied for the America East lead and rank No. 50 in the nation with 2.7 three-point field goals per game each. Junior center Alyssa James, meanwhile, ranks second in the conference with 1.5 blocks per game and is fourth in both rebounding (6.3 rpg.) and steals (2.1 spg.).

- Stony Brook (9-9, 2-3 AE) lost 65-52 at Hartford on Thursday. Davion Wingate scored a game-high 23 points for the Seawolves. Kori Bayne-Walker, meanwhile, leads the squad with 11.3 points and 4.5 assists per game. Elizabeth Manner, who had nine rebounds against Hartford, leads the team and is seventh in the conference with 5.8 rebounds per game. 

- Binghamton leads the all-time series 21-19. Last year, the two teams played to a split, with the Seawolves winning at home 64-58 on Jan. 6 but the Bearcats returning the favor with a 54-47 triumph at the Events Center on Feb. 3. Imani Watkins had a season-high 27 points in the first game and a team-best 17 points in the second contest.

- The Bearcats lead the America East and are No. 37 in the nation with 5.0 blocks per game. Binghamton also ranks first in the conference and No. 45 in the nation with 7.8 three-point field goals per game. In addition, it is third in the conference in both scoring (63.8 ppg.) and steals (9.6 spg.). 

- Junior guard Imani Watkins ranks sixth in program history with 1,255 points. Cathy Mackin (1994-98) is sixth with 1,269 points. Watkins reached the 1,000-point mark against Sacred Heart on Nov. 23 and has nine games this season with at least 20 points. This includes a program-record six straight games from Nov. 16-Dec. 6.
