Women's Basketball Returns Home To Face Maine

Bearcats and Black Bearcats tip off Saturday at 2 p.m.

STORY LINES

- Binghamton (9-11, 4-3 AE) lost 76-73 in double overtime at Hartford on Wednesday night. Junior center Alyssa James had a team-best 18 points while redshirt sophomore guard Jasmine Sina netted 17 points. Junior guard Imani Watkins, meanwhile, finished with 16 points and 11 rebounds to record her fifth career double-double.

- Junior guard Imani Watkins ranks second in the America East and is No. 35 in the nation with 18.8 points per game. Redshirt sophomore guard Jasmine Sina has America East lead and ranks No. 36 in the nation with 2.7 three-point field goals per game. Junior center Alyssa James, meanwhile, is tied for second in the conference with 1.5 blocks per game and is fourth in both rebounding (6.7 rpg.) and steals (2.1 spg.).

- Maine (11-11, 4-3 AE) rallied from 12 points down to beat Albany 84-71 in its most recent game this past Sunday. Bianca Millan poured in a career-high 26 points in the victory. Sigi Koizar, who was named first-team all-conference last year, leads the Black Bears and ranks seventh in the America East with 13.0 points per game. Millan, meanwhile, is ninth in the conference with 1.7 steals per game.

- Maine lead the all-time series 18-13, having won the past seven meetings. Last year, the Black Bears swept the season series, winning 52-38 at the Events Center on Jan. 30 as well as 69-37 in Orono on Feb. 27. The Bearcats' last win in the series was a 67-65 road triumph back on Feb. 16, 2013.

- The Bearcats lead the America East and are No. 49 in the nation with 4.7 blocks per game. Binghamton also ranks first in the conference and No. 46 in the nation with 7.8 three-point field goals per game. In addition, it is third in the conference in both scoring (63.5 ppg.) and steals (9.4 spg.).

- Junior guard Imani Watkins ranks fifth in program history with 1,278 points. She reached the 1,000-point mark against Sacred Heart on Nov. 23. In fourth place all time, with 1,341 career points, is current Binghamton Associate Head Coach Leah Truncale.
