STORY LINES

- Binghamton (1-1) defeated Cortland 90-36 on Monday night. Senior guard Imani Watkins and sophomore guard Kai Moon each netted a game-high 18 points. Sophomore guard Carly Boland finished with 14 points and a career-high 14 rebounds to record the first double-double of her career. As a team, Binghamton broke the program record with 66 rebounds.

- Watkins continued to led the Bearcats with 19.5 points per game while Moon is averaging 16.0 points per night. Boland leads the squad with 9.0 rebounds per game while senior center Alyssa James is averaging 5.0 blocks per game. 

- Penn (0-0) opens up the season as the defending Ivy League champion. The Quakers, who advanced to the first round of the NCAA Tournament against Texas A&M, return three starters and 10 letterwinners from last year's squad. Michelle Nwokedi is the current Ivy League Player of the Year, having averaged 14.6 points and 9.1 rebounds during the 2016-17 season.

- In the inaugural meeting between the two teams, Binghamton took a 61-48 decision at the Palestra on Nov. 16, 2016. Imani Watkins poured in a game-high 26 points while current redshirt junior guard Jasmine Sina added 17 points. Kai Moon finished with six points, a career-high 10 rebounds and five steals.

- Senior guard Imani Watkins currently has 1,507 points. That ranks fourth all time in Binghamton program history and No. 38 all time in the America East. In third place, with the Binghamton program's Division I era record is Andrea Holmes (2008-12), who scored 1,557 points during her career.
