STORY LINES

- Binghamton (2-1) rallied from 14 points down to beat defending Ivy League champion Penn 77-72 on Wednesday night. Senior guard Imani Watkins poured in a season-high 27 points -- 19 of which came in the decisive second half. Off the bench, sophomore guard Carly Boland had 13 points and junior forward Rebecca Carmody netted 11 points. Senior center Alyssa James, meanwhile, finished with eight points, a season-high 12 rebounds and six blocks.

- Watkins continues to lead the America East Conference with 22.0 points per game while sophomore guard Kai Moon is averaging 12.7 points per night. Boland leads the America East with 8.0 rebounds per game and is third on the Bearcat squad with 10.0 points per contest. James, meanwhile, is averaging a conference-best 5.3 blocks per game and leads the team with 3.0 steals per night.

- Playing in the Big Sky Conference, Southern Utah (0-2) dropped its most recent game 72-59 at San Diego on Tuesday night, Natalie Sanchez, who leads the Thunderbirds with 12.0 points per game, pumped in a game-high 14 points.

- This marks the first-ever meeting between the two schools in women's basketball.

- Senior guard Imani Watkins currently has 1,534 points. That ranks fourth all time in Binghamton program history and No. 35 all time in the America East. In third place, with the Binghamton program's Division I era record of 1,557 points is Andrea Holmes (2008-12).

- Binghamton continues its Western road trip as it heads to the Great Alaska Shootout Nov. 21-23. It will mark the Bearcats' first-ever appearances in the event.
