- Binghamton (3-2) lost 60-55 to American Athletic Conference member Tulsa 60-55 on Tuesday night in the opening round of the Great Alaska Shootout. Senior guard

- Playing in the Mid-Eastern Athletic MEAC, UMES (1-3) lost 69-59 to host Alaska Anchorage in the other first-round game on Tuesday night. Bairesha Giles-Miles led the Hawks with 17 points. For the season, Jordyn Smith leads the team with 10.5 points per game. As a team, UMES is averaging 16.3 steals per game.
- This marks the first-ever meeting between the two schools in women's basketball.

Imani Watkins currently has 1,570 points. That ranks third all time in Binghamton program history and No. 3 all time in the America East. Against Tulsa on Tuesday, Watkins surpassed Andrea Holmes, who was third in program history with 1,557 career points.Â
