- Watkins continues to lead the America East and ranks No. 15 in the nation with 21.2 points per game. She also is second in the conference in steals (2.5 spg.). James is tops in the America East and third in the nation with 4.2 blocks per game. She is also tied for first in the America East in rebounding (9.2 rpg.). As a team, Binghamton leads the conference and is third in the nation with 7.1 blocks per game. The Bearcats are also first in the America East in rebounding (40.9 rpg.) and are second in scoring (66.6 ppg.).
- James currently has 231 career blocks, which is tied for first all time in America East history with Jamie Cassidy of Maine (1996-00). She is now five blocks from the Binghamton program record of 236, set by current Associate Head Coach Leah (Truncale) Bowers from 1998-02.
- Watkins ranks third in Binghamton program history and No. 14 in America East history with 1,828 career points. She is eight points away from tying Sarah Cartmill (1998-02) for second place all-time with 1,836 career points.
- Stony Brook (9-8, 1-3 AE) defeated Vermont 80-57 this past Saturday in its most recent game. Shania Johnson, who ranks fifth in the America East with 15.1 points per game, scored a game-high 24 points against the Catamounts. Jerell Matthews added 20 points. Cheyenne Clark, who is tied for first in the conference with 9.2 rebounds per game, had 10 rebounds against Vermont.
- Binghamton leads the all-time series against Stony Brook 22-20, but during the two teams' America East era (since 2001-02), the Seawolves hold a 17-16 edge. Last year, both team won on the road. The Bearcats won 48-40 on Jan. 22 but the Seawolves got even with a 74-59 decision on Feb. 18. James posted a triple-double (16 points, 10 rebounds and 11 blocks) in the second game.Â
