STORY LINES

- Off to its best start since the 2005-06 season, Binghamton (10-4, 1-0 AE) won 66-62 in overtime at Maine on Saturday With the victory, the Bearcats have now have won six straight games -- their longest unbeaten streak since the 2003-04 season. Senior guard Imani Watkins finished with a game-high 23 points. Sophomore guard Kai Moon netted 14 points while junior forward Rebecca Carmody added 12 points. Senior center Alyssa James, meanwhile, chipped in eight points and a team-best nine rebounds.

- Watkins leads the America East and ranks No. 19 in the nation with 21.1 points per game. Moon is averaging 11.8 points per night. Senior center Alyssa James, meanwhile, leads the conference and is second in the nation with 4.4 blocks per game. She is also third in the America East with 8.6 rebounds per night. As a team, Binghamton ranks third in the nation with 7.4 blocks per game. The Bearcats are also tops in the America East in rebounding (41.9 rpg.).

- New Hampshire (10-5, 1-1 AE) lost 66-53 at Albany on Saturday. Brittni Li led the Wildcats with 20 points while Carlie Pogue, the reigning America East Player of the Year, added 17 points. Pogue currently ranks fifth in the conference with 15.4 points per game. The Wildcats were picked first in the America East Preseason Poll and are the conference's defending regular-season champions.

- Binghamton leads the all-time series 20-14 but New Hampshire has won the past three meetings. Last year, the Wildcats won 70-62 at the Events Center on Jan. 14 and 76-69 at home on Jan. 12. The Bearcats' last win in the series was a 51-50 victory on Jan. 9, 2016. Current junior forward Rebecca Carmody hit the game-winning layup at the buzzer.
