MILWAUKEE, Wisc. -- Binghamton (5-7) was defeated 93-40 at No. 16 Marquette (9-2) on Monday night at the Al McGuire Center. It marked the Bearcats' second straight game against a nationally-ranked opponent in as many days.
Senior guard
Kai Moon returned to the court for the first time in five games and led the Bearcats with nine points. Sophomore forward
Olivia Ramil finished with eight points while junior guard
Karlee Krchnavi grabbed a team-best seven rebounds.
The Golden Eagles took a 43-24 lead at the break but took complete control over the final 20 minutes of play. They outscored the Bearcats 50-16 during that stretch and shot 58 percent (19-of 33 in the process.
For the game, Marquette drained 14 three-point field goals and scored 30 points off of turnovers.Â
Isabelle Spingola of Maquette led all scorers with 24 points while teammate Allazia Blockton added 20 points.
Binghamton returns to the court on Dec. 31 at Dartmouth for a 2 p.m. game.
