STORY LINES
 
- Binghamton (5-3) won 73-54 over Fairleigh Dickinson at home on Friday night. Senior forward Rebecca Carmody finished with a game-high 17 points and nine rebounds. Junior guard Karlee Krchnavi and sophomore guard Lizzie Spindler each netted a career-best 13 points while junior guard Carly Boland added 12 points and eight rebounds. 
 
- Carmody leads the team and ranks eighth in the America East with 13.9 points per game. She is also tied for first in the conference in rebounding (7.8 rpg.) and is tied for seventh in steals (1.9 spg.). Boland is third in the America East in blocks (1.5 bpg.).
 
- As a team, the Bearcats are second in the America East in blocks (4.14 bpg.). Binghamton is also third in rebounding (37.5 rpg.) and free throw percentage (.737).
 
- Niagara lost 68-61 to visiting Howard on Saturday afternoon. Jai Moore, who leads the Purple Eagles with 14.7 points per game, poured in a game-high 23 points against the Bison. 
 
- Niagara (1-6) leads the all-time series against Binghamton 5-1, having swept the past five meetings. Most recently, the Purple Eagles won 63-52 at the Events Center on Nov. 26, 2014. The lone Bearcat win remains a 83-65 decision back on Dec. 1, 2008.
 
- With a 5-3 record, the Bearcats are off to their best start since posting the same eight-game mark during the 2005-06 campaign. Binghamton's most recent 6-3 start came during that same season.
