STORY LINES
 
- Binghamton (15-8, 6-4 AE) lost 61-38 to Maine on Saturday afternoon. Senior guard Imani Watkins finished with a team-high 15 points while sophomore guard Kai Moon scored 10 points. Senior center Alyssa James, meanwhile, had seven points and nine rebounds. 
 
- Watkins continues to lead the America East and ranks No. 10 in the nation with 21.8 points per game. She is also third in the conference in steals (2.6 spg.). James is tops in the America East and fourth in the nation with 3.5 blocks per game. She is also first in the America East -- and No. 28 in the nation -- in rebounding (9.9 rpg.). 
 
- As a team, Binghamton leads the conference and is No. 11 in the nation with 6.1 blocks per game. The Bearcats are also first in the America East in rebounding (39.9 rpg.) and second in scoring (65.3 ppg.). In addition, Binghamton is No. 20 in the nation in field goal percentage defense (.360), No. 36 in steals (10.6 spg.) and No. 40 in scoring defense (57.7 ppg.).
 
- With 1,970 career points, Watkins ranks second all-time in Binghamton program history and No. 12 in the America East. Bess Greenberg set the program record with 2,024 points from 1997-01.
 
- Stony Brook (13-10, 5-5 AE) won 66-58 on at Hartford on Saturday behind a game-high 24 points by Jerell Matthews. Shania Johnson ranks fifth in the America East in scoring (15.5 ppg.) and is second in assists (5.3 apg.). Cheyenne Clark is second in rebounding (9.2 rpg.). 
 
- Binghamton leads the all-time series 22-21 but the Seawolves have won the past two meetings, including a 67-59 decision at the Events Center back on Jan. 18. Watkins had 21 points and James turned in a 19-point, 18-rebound, three-block performance. Matthews, however, led all scorers with 28 points. In the most recent meeting at Stony Brook, the Bearcats recorded a 48-40 victory on Jan. 22, 2017.
