Wrestling Falls to Army 30-7

Sparacio and Lou DePrez record wins for the Bearcats

WEST POINT, NY - The Binghamton wrestling team fell 30-7 to Army Sunday afternoon at Gillis Field House. Anthony Sparacio (149) and #8 Lou DePrez (184) recorded sole wins for the Bearcats at their respective weights.

The loss moved Binghamton to 0-3 on the season with an 0-1 EIWA mark.

Of note
  • The win moved Sparacio to a 2-1 dual mark and holding the second best overall record on the team at 14-9. His first collegiate dual win came on Dec. 6 with an 8-3 dec. over Buffalo's Kyle Todrank. 
  • Lou DePrez notched his fifth major decision of the season and his sixth bonus point win overall. He now has a 2-0 dual mark and leads the team with 17 wins and only four losses.
