STORY LINES
 
- Binghamton (7-10, 2-2 AE) defeated UMBC 67-45 at home on Wednesday night. Senior forward Rebecca Carmody finished with a team-best 16 points and had eight rebounds, three assists and three steals. Junior guard Karlee Krchnavi had a team-high 14 points while fellow junior guard Carly Boland scored 13 points, grabbed seven rebounds, dished out four assists. blocked a pair of shots and recorded three steals.
 
- Carmody ranks sixth in the conference with 13.6 points per game and is tied for first in rebounding (7.6 rpg.). She is also tied fourth in assists (2.9 apg.) and tied for ninth in steals (1.5 spg.). Boland ranks sixth in the America East with 1.2 blocks per game.
 
- As a team, the Bearcats are second in the America East in blocks (3.82 bpg.) and third in rebounding (38.0 rpg.). Binghamton is also second in free throw percentage (.715).
 
- Vermont (7-10, 2-3 AE) won 69-60 over visiting Vermont on Wednesday night. Hannah Crymble, who ranks fourth in the America East with 15.4 points per game, finished with a team-best 15 points against the Wildcasts. Candace Wright, who leads the conference with 3.1 blocks per game, had a pair of rejections in the victory. 
 
- As a team, Vermont leads the America East with 5.94 blocks per game. The Catmounts are also fourth in scoring defense (60.4 ppg.).
 
- Vermont leads the all-time series 21-15 but Binghamton has taken the past six meetings. Last year, the Bearcats won 62-48 in Burlington on Jan. 31 and 52-38 at the Events Center on Feb. 14.
