Women's Basketball Heads to UMass Lowell

Bearcats and River Hawks Tip Off 11 a.m. on Wednesday

STORY LINES
 
- Binghamton (7-11, 2-3 AE) lost 58-57 in overtime to visiting Vermont on Saturday. Junior guard Kai Moon scored a career-high 25 points in making her return to the court for the first time since Dec. 17. Senior forward Rebecca Carmody finished with eight points, eight rebounds, three assists and a pair of steals.
 
- Carmody ranks seventh in the America East in scoring (13.3 ppg.), first in rebounding (7.7 rpg.), sixth in assists (2.9 apg.) and ninth in steals (1.6 spg.). Junior guard Carly Boland is tied for fifth with 1.2 blocks per game and is tied for seventh with 2.6 assists per contest.
 
- As a team, Binghamton ranks second in rebounding (38.0 rpg.) and blocks (3.89 bpg.). The Bearcats are also fourth in scoring (59.4 ppg.) and third with a .387 field goal percentage.
 
- UMass Lowell (6-13, 2-4 AE) lost 66-44 to first-place Hartford on Saturday. Kharis Idom scored a season-high 17 points against the Hawks while Katherine Smith added 15 points.
 
- Brianna Rudolph leads the River Hawks and ranks ninth in the America East with 12.2 points per game. She is also tied for No. 10 with 5.4 rebounds per game.
 
- As a team, UMass Lowell ranks third in the conference with 13.32 assists per game.
 
- Binghamton leads the all-time series 10-4, including 8-2 during the Division I era. The Bearcats have beaten the River Hawks six straight times. Last year, Binghamton won 76-46 at UMass Lowell on Jan. 21 and 52-38 on Feb. 17 at the Events Center.
