STORY LINES

- Binghamton (8-11, 3-3 AE) won 70-50 at UMass Lowell on Wednesday. Senior forward Rebecca Carmody turned in a 13-point, 10-rebound, nine-assist performance while junior guard Carly Boland added 12 points.

- Carmody ranks seventh in the America East in scoring (13.3 ppg.), first in rebounding (7.8 rpg.), fourth in assists (3.2 apg.) and ninth in steals (1.5 spg.). Junior guard Carly Boland is tied for fifth with 1.2 blocks per game and is tied for seventh with 2.6 assists per contest.
- As a team, Binghamton ranks second in the conference in rebounding (37.6 rpg.) and blocks (3.74 bpg.). The Bearcats are also fourth in scoring (59.9 ppg.) and third with a .392 field goal percentage.

- Maine (12-7, 5-1) has been off since its 68-54 win at Stony Brook last Saturday. Blanca Millan, who leads the America East with 17.4 points and 2.8 steals per game, scored a game-high 20 points against the Seawolves.

- As a team, the defending conference champion Black Bears rank second in the America East in scoring (65.2 ppg.) and assists (15.63 apg.) and are third with 8.21 steals per game.

- Maine leads the all-time series 22-14. Last year, Binghamton won 66-62 in overtime on Jan. 6 at the Cross Insurance Center but the Black Bears got even with a 61-38 victory on Feb. 3 at the Events Center. Rebecca Carmody finished with 12 points, five rebounds and two assists and four steals in the first game while current junior guard Kai Moon added 14 points. Moon also had 10 points in the second game.
