- Niagara (0-3) lost 87-37 at Rutgers on Wednesday night. The Scarlet Knghts are currently receiving votes in the WBCA Top 25 poll. Adia Brisker led the Purple Eagles with 12 points. For the season, Jai Moore is averaging a team-best 13.7 points per game.
- Niagara leads the all-time series 6-1, having won the past six meetings. Last year, the Purple Eagles won 79-72 at home on Dec. 5.
