STORY LINES

- Binghamton (8-0) won 78-67 against Eastern Michigan on Sunday afternoon and is now off to the second-best start in program history. Senior guard Kai Moon scored a team-best 21 points while junior forward Kaylee Wasco added 12 points. Sophomore forward Annie Ramil, meanwhile, turned in a 10-point, 11-rebound performance.

- Moon ranks first in the America East and is second in the nation with 24.3 points per game. She is also ninth in the nation with 3.75 three-point field goals per contest. Senior guard Carly Boland is second on the team with 11.1 points per game, is sixth in the America East with 3.6 asissts per game and is tied for seventh in the conference with 0.9 blocks per contest. Ramil is fourth with 7.4 rebounds per game.

- Cornell (5-2) had its game against Lafayette on Sunday cancelled due to the weather. In its most recent outing, the Big Red defeated UMass Lowell 70-57 for its fourth straight triumph. Samantha Widmann led four players in double figures with 16 points.

- For the season, Laura Bagwell-Katalinich leads Cornell with 15.9 points per game. Widmann is second with 12.9 points per game and is grabbing a team-best 8.0 rebounds per contest.

- Binghamton leads the all-time series against Cornell 10-8, having taken the past two matchups. Most recently, the Bearcats won 72-61 at the Events Center on Nov. 9, 2018. Kai Moon scored a game-high 22 points in the win.

-  As a team, Binghamton leads the America East with 74.8 points per game. In addition, the Bearcats rank fourth in the nation with an .809 free throw percentage.

- Senior guard Kai Moon needs six points to tie Rebeccaa Carmody (2015-18) for 15th place all time in program history with 1,068 points. She needs 26 to tie Laura Sario (2004-08) for 14th place with 1,088 career points and 29 to tie Alyssa James (2015-18) for 13th place with 1,091 career points.

- Senior guard Kai Moon needs five free throws to tie Andrea Holmes (2008-12) for seventh place all time with 227 made attempts.
