Women's Basketball Hosts Albany

Bearcats and Great Danes tip off on Saturday at 2 p.m.

STORY LINES
 
- Binghamton (9-12, 4-4 AE) shot a season-best 51 percent from the floor in its 72-63 win over first-place Hartford on Wednesday night. Junior guard Carly Boland netted a game-high 19 points while senior forward Rebecca Carmody added 16 points and eight rebounds. Junior guard Kai Moon, meanwhile, finished with 15 points.
 
- Carmody ranks seventh in the America East in scoring (13.2 ppg.), first in rebounding (8.0 rpg.) and fourth in assists (3.2 apg.). Boland and sophomore forward Olivia Ramil are both tied for seventh with 1.0 blocks per game. Boland is also tied for seventh with 2.7 assists per game.
 
- As a team, Binghamton ranks second in the conference in rebounding (37.7 rpg.) and is third in blocks (3.71 bpg.). The Bearcats are also fourth in scoring (60.9 ppg.) and third with a .396 field goal percentage.
 
- Albany (8-13, 5-3 AE) beat visiting New Hampshire. Alexi Schecter scored a game-high 18 points while Heather Forester added 16 points. For the season, Forester ranks second in the conference with 7.4 rebounds per game.
 
- As a team, Albany ranks third in the America East in scoring defense (58.9 ppg.) and fourth in both rebounding (37.0 rpg.) and blocks (3.38).
 
- Albany leads the all-time series 40-25, having won the past 18 matchups. Earlier in the season, the Great Danes won 61-56 at home on Jan. 2. Rebecca Carmody had 22 points and 11 rebounds in that game. The Bearcats' last win in the series remains a 41-40 triumph at Albany on Feb. 20, 2011. Their last win over the Great Danes at the Events center was a 50-44 decision on Jan. 20, 2011.
