Women's Basketball Heads to Vermont

Bearcats and Catamounts tip off Saturday at 2 p.m.

STORY LINES

- Binghamton (11-15, 6-7 AE) held on for a 58-53 win over UMass Lowell on Wednesday night. Junior guard Kai Moon finished with 19 points while Carly Boland added 11 points. Senior forward Rebecca Carmody had nine points and eight assists while junior guard Karlee Krchnavi posted eight points and nine rebounds.

- Carmody ranks seventh in the America East in scoring (13.2 ppg.), first in rebounding (7.8 rpg.), fourth in assists (3.3 apg.) and is eighth in steals (1.7 spg.). Junior guard Carly Boland and sophomore forward Olivia Ramil are both tied for fifth with 1.0 blocks per game while Karlee Krchnavi is seventh with 5.9 rebounds per game.

- As a team, Binghamton ranks second in the conference in rebounding (37.6 rpg.) and is third in blocks (3.85 bpg.). The Bearcats are also fourth in scoring (60.1 ppg.) and third in assists (12.81).

- Vermont (11-15, 7-7 AE) defeated UMBC 58-50 on Wednesday night. Hannah Crymble, who ranks fourth in the America East with 14.3 points per game, scored a game-high 18 points against the Retrievers. As a team, Vermont leads the America East with 5.45 blocks per game. Candice Wright ranks first individually with 2.9 blocks per game.

- Vermont lead the all-time series 22-15, including a 58-57 overtime win at the Events Center back on Jan 19. Kai Moon finished with a game-high 25 points for the Bearcats, In Burlington, the Bearcats have taken the past three meetings.
