STORY LINES
 
- Binghamton (12-4, 1-2 AE) lost 66-56 to UMass Lowell on Saturday. Junior forward Olivia Ramil turned in a 13-point, 20-rebound, five-block performance. Her rebound total was the best by a Binghamton player since 1993. Senior guard Kai Moon and Carly Boland each added 12 points while freshman guard Denai Bowman scored 10 points for the second game in a row.
 
- Moon ranks first in the America East and is No. 19 in the nation with 20.1 points per game. She is also tied for second in the conference with 2.1 steals per game. Sophomore forward Annie Ramil is tied for fourth in the America East with 7.3 rebounds per game while Boland is tied for sixth in assists (3.1 apg.) and is third in blocks (1.2 bpg.). As a team, Binghamton continues to lead the America East with 69.3 points per game.
 
- Vermont (7-9, 1-2 AE) won 60-58 over UMBC on Saturday. Hanna Crymble turned in a 23-point, 15-rebound, four-block performance. Emma Utterback added 12 points while Josie Larkins finished with 11 points.
 
- Crymble leads the America East with 8.3 rebounds and 2.1 blocks per game. Larkins is sixth in the conference with 13.3 points per game. As a team, the Catamounts are tops in the America East in blocks (4.3 bpg.).
 
- Vermont leads the all-time series 22-16. Last year, the road team won both games, with the Catamounts earning a 58-57 overtime decision on Jan. 16 and the Bearcats earning a 59-50 triumph on Feb. 23. Senior guard Kai Moon averaged 24.0 points in the two games. Binghamton has won four straight meetings at Vermont.
 
- As a team, the Bearcats are off to their best 16-game start since the 2001-02 season. In the 47-year history of the program, seven Binghamton teams have started off their seasons at least 12-4.
