STORY LINES
 
- Binghamton (11-2, 0-0 AE) defeated NJIT 75-40 on Monday night to finish with the best non-conference record during its 19-year NCAA Division I era. Senior guard Kai Moon finished with 27 points to go along with six assists and five steals. Fellow senior guard Carly Boland had 15 points while senior forward Karlee Krchnavi grabbed a game-high 13 rebounds. 
 
- Moon ranks first in the America East and ranks No. 10 in the nation with 21.4 points per game. She is also tied for third in the conference with 2.0 steals per game. Sophomore forward Annie Ramil is tied for third in the America East with 7.4 rebounds per game while Boland is seventh in assists (3.1 apg.) and tied for fifth in blocks (0.9 bpg.)
 
- Albany (5-9, 1-0 AE) beat Vermont 58-49 on Wednesday night. Amanda Kantzy finished with 15 points and nine rebounds. Kyara Frames dished out a game-high nine assists.
 
- Alexi Schecter leads the Great Danes and ranks sixth in the America East with 13.3 points per game. She is also tied for ninth in the conference with 6.6 rebounds per game. Frames, meanwhile, is fourth in the America East with 4.2 assists per game.
 
- Albany leads the all-time series against Binghamton 42-25, including 26-14 during the two programs' 19-year America East era. The Great Danes have won 20 straight meetings. The Bearcats' last win in the series was a 41-40 decision at Albany back on Feb. 20, 2011.
 
- Binghamton is receiving votes in the CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Top 25 Poll for the fourth straight week. The Bearcats were named one of the five "Under the Radar" Teams in the nation by NCAA.com back on Nov. 28.
 
- As a team, the Bearcats are off to their best 13-game start since the 1999-2000 season. In the 47-year history of the program, seven Binghamton teams have started off the season at least 11-2. 
 

MILESTONES TO WATCH FOR VS.  ALBANY
 
- A victory would give the Bearcats 12 wins for the year - which would tie last season's total.
- A win would be its first over Albany since Feb. 20, 2011.
- A win would mark Binghamton's third conference-opening victory in four seasons (it also won in 2017 and 2018).
- Kai Moon need four points to tie Erica Carter (2008-12) for 12th place all-time in program history with 1,150 career points.
