STORY LINES
 
- Binghamton (11-3, 0-1 AE) lost 56-53 at Albany on Sunday afternoon. Senior guard Kai Moon scored a team-best 17 points while follow senior Carly Boland added 14 points. As a team, the Bearcats blocked season-best 10 shots.
 
- Moon ranks first in the America East and is ninth in the nation with 21.1 points per game. She is also third in the conference with 2.0 steals per game. Sophomore forward Annie Ramil third in the America East with 7.4 rebounds per game while Boland is seventh in assists (3.0 apg.) and third in blocks (1.1 bpg.)
 
- UMBC (4-9, 0-2 AE) lost 75-64 at UMass Lowell on Sunday.Janee'a Summers scored a team-high 17 points and grabbed 10 rebounds while Te-yJah Oliver finished with 16 points.
 
- Oliver is second in the America East and No. 13 in the nation with 20.7 points per game. She also leads the conference with 2.2 steals per game. Summers is tied for fourth in the America East with 7.3 points per game. 
 
- Binghamton leads the all-time series against UMBC 23-12, having swept the past four meetings. Last season, the Bearcats won 67-45 at home on Jan. 16 as well as 58-46 in Baltimore on Feb. 13. In the victory at UMBC, current senior guard Karlee Krchnavi finished with 16 points and a career-high 19 rebounds.
 
- Binghamton received votes in the CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Top 25 Poll four weeks this season. The Bearcats were named one of the five "Under the Radar" Teams in the nation by NCAA.com back on Nov. 28.
 
- As a team, the Bearcats are off to their best 14-game start since the 2001-02 season. In the 47-year history of the program, eight Binghamton teams have started off the season at least 11-3. 
 
MILESTONES TO WATCH FOR VS. UMBC
 
- A victory would give the Bearcats 12 wins for the year - which would tie last season's total.
- Kai Moon need 13 points to tie Viive Rebane (2008-12) for 11th place all-time in program history with 1,176 career points. She needs 25 points to tie Laine Kurpniece (2004-08) for 10th place with 1,088 career points.
- Carly Boland needs two three-point field goals to tie Katrina Roggenbaum (1990-94) for ninth place in program history with 129 career three pointers.
