Women's Basketball Travels to UMass Lowell

Bearcats and River Hawks tip off at 7 p.m. on Wednesday

STORY LINES
 
- Binghamton (17-8, 6-6 AE) won 76-53 over Vermont on Saturday. Senior guard Kai Moon -- the current America East Player of the Week - scored a game-high 21 points in the victory. Senior guard Carly Boland added 12 points while junior forward Olivia Ramil and freshman guard Denai Bowman each chipped in 10 points.
 
- Moon ranks first in the America East and is No. 10 in the nation in scoring (20.2 ppg.). She is also first in the conference in steals (2.4 spg.). Senior guard Karlee Krchnavi ranks ninth in the America East with 6.4 rebounds per game while Boland is tied for ninth in assists (3.0 apg.) and is fourth in blocks (1.1 bpg.). As a team, Binghamton leads the America East with 68.0 points per game and is third in scoring defense (59.2 ppg.). 
 
- UMass Lowell (13-13, 9-4 AE) won 64-56 over visiting Hartford on Saturday. Kharis Idom led three players in double figures with 17 points. Jaliena Sanchez added 12 points, seven assists and six steals.
 
-  Ren'Cia Rolling leads the River Hawks and is ranked No. 14 in the America East with 11.6 points per game. She is also second in the conference behind Moon with 2.1 steals per game. As a team, UMass Lowell leads the America East with 8.65 steals per game.
 
- Binghamton leads the all-time series against UMass Lowell 12-5. Earlier in the season, however, the River Hawks took a 66-56 decision at the Events Center on Jan. 11. Olivia Ramil turned in a 13-point, 20-rebound, five-block performance but Rolling led all scorers with 20 points. The Bearcats have won the past four meetings at UMass Lowell.
 
MILESTONES TO WATCH FOR VS. UMASS LOWELL
 
- With 397 made free throws, senior guard Kai Moon needs five more makes to tie Bess Greenberg (1997-01) for third place all time in program history with 402.
- 18 wins would mark the fourth-best single-season total during Binghamton's 19-year NCAA Division I era.
- Senior guard Kai Moon needs 26 points to reach 1,400 for her career.
