Bearcats and Retrievers tip off Wednesday at 7 p.m.

STORY LINES
 
- Binghamton (19-8, 8-6 AE) won 78-65 at Hartford on Saturday. Senior guard Kai Moon led all scorers with 18 points while freshman guard Denai Bowman finished with a career-high 14 points and seven rebounds. Junior forward Olivia Ramil added 11 points.
 
-  Binghamton needs to win one of its final two regular-season games to host a first-round home game in the upcoming America East Tournament. The Bearcats can finish anywhere from third to fifth in the final conference standings.
 
- Moon ranks first in the America East and is No. 11 in the nation in scoring (20.2 ppg.). She is also first in the conference in steals (2.4 spg.). Senior guard Karlee Krchnavi ranks ninth in the America East with 6.2 rebounds per game while senior guard Carly Boland is tied for eighth in assists (3.1 apg.) and is tied for third in blocks (1.1 bpg.). As a team, Binghamton leads the America East with 68.1 points per game and is shooting a conference-best .409 from the field.
 
- UMBC (10-15, 6-8 AE) won 54-47 over Vermont on Saturday to record its second straight victory. Lyric Swann led the Retrievers with 11 points. For the season, Tey'Jah Oliver ranks second in the America East in scoring (17.6 ppg.) and is tied for fifth with 1.8 steals per game.
 
- Binghamton leads the all-time series against UMBC 24-12. Earlier this season, the Bearcats won 61-43 at UMBC on Jan 8. Moon scored a game-high 14 points in the victory. At the Events Center, the Bearcats have won their last five games against the Retrievers.
 
MILESTONES TO WATCH FOR VS. UMBC 
 
- 20 wins would tie the best single-season victory total during Binghamton's 19-year NCAA Division I era. The 2017-18 squad finished 20-12.
- Senior guard Kai Moon needs three more three-point field goals to become just the fifth Binghamton player to reach the 200 mark for her career.
- Binghamton would improve to 11-2 at home with a win.
- Senior guard Carly Boland needs two blocks to tie Alicia Brennan (1986-90) for sixth place all time in program history with 95. She needs three blocks to tie Sherae Swinson (2011-15) for fifth place with 96.
