Women's Basketball Hosts New Hampshire on Senior Day

Bearcats and Wildcats Tip Off Saturday at 2 p.m.

STORY LINES
 
- Binghamton (20-8, 9-6 AE) won 66-58 over UMBC on Wednesday night to clinch a first-round home game in the upcoming America East Tournament. Senior guard Kai Moon scored a game-high 31 points, going 8-for-21 from the field, sinking four three-point field goals and making 11 of her 12 free throw attempts. Senior forward Karlee Krchnavi added 13 points and eight rebounds while junior forward Olivia Ramil added 11 points and eight rebounds.
 
- Moon ranks first in the America East and is eighth in the nation in scoring (20.5 ppg.). She is also first in the conference in steals (2.3 spg.). Krchnavi ranks ninth in the America East with 6.3 rebounds per game while senior guard Carly Boland is ninth in assists (3.1 apg.) and is fourth in blocks (1.1 bpg.).
 
- As a team, Binghamton leads the America East with 68.1 points per game. The Bearcats also led the conference in all three shooting categories (.407 field goal pct., 3.44 three-point field goal pct. and .754 free throw pct.).
 
- New Hampshire lost 71-62 to Maine on Wednesday night. Ashley Storey, who ranks fourth in the conference in scoring (16.0 ppg.), netted a game-high 23 points. In the process, she reached the 1,000-point milestone for her career.
 
- Binghamton leads the all-time series against New Hampshire 23-16. The Bearcats won the first meeting of the year 63-53 on Jan. 25. Moon led all scorers with 25 points in that game. At the Events Center, however, the Wildcats have won the past three meetings.
 

MILESTONES TO WATCH FOR VS. NEW HAMPSHIRE
 
- 21 wins would be the best single-season victory total during Binghamton's 19-year NCAA Division I era.
- 12 home wins would be the Bearcats' best single-season total since moving into the Events Center in 2004.
- Senior guard Kai Moon needs three more three-point field goals to tie Jasmine Sina (2014-18) for fourth place all time with 204 treys.
- Senior guard Carly Boland needs one block to tie Alicia Brennan (1986-90) for sixth place all time in program history with 95 rejections. She needs two blocks to tie Sherae Swinson (2011-15) for fifth place with 96.
