STORY LINES

- Binghamton (4-8, 4-6 AE) split its series against UMass Lowell this past weekend, losing 49-59 on Saturday before winning 67-63 the following day. Junior forward Kathryn Kirkwood scored a career-high and team-best of 13 points in the first game. In the victory on Sunday sophomore guard Denai Bowman scored a game-high 20 points posted a team high of seven rebounds and recorded four steals. Sophomore forward Birna Benonysdottir, meanwhile, added 18 points in the win.

- Bowman is tied for second in the America East with 13.3 points per game. She is also third with 2.1 steals per contest and is tied with sophomore guard Cassidy Roberts for eighth in assists (2.6 apg.). Sophomore forward Clare Traeger is eighth in rebounding and Benonysdottir and senior forward Kaylee Wasco are tied for third with 1.0 blocks per game. As a team, the Bearcats are third in the conference with 3.58 blocks per night.

- Maine (10-1, 7-1 AE) swept Albany last weekend, winning by scores of 66-48 and 63-47. Blanca Millan, the current America East Player of the Week, averaged 21.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.0 steals.

-  Millan is ranked first in the conference and No. 16 in the nation in scoring (22.7 ppg.). In addition, she is third in rebounds and first with 2.5 steals per contest. Dor Saar, meanwhile, leads the America East with 5.6 assists per game. As a team, Maine is first in America East for scoring offense (66.9 ppg.), assists (16.09 apg.) and steals (8.73 spg).

- Maine leads the all-time series 25-15. Last season, each team won at home. Binghamton posted a 73-63 victory on Jan. 18 but Maine took a 75-65 overtime decision on Feb. 9.
