Women's Basketball Hosts New Hampshire

Bearcats and Wildcats meet Sunday at 6 p.m., Monday at 2 p.m.

STORY LINES

- Binghamton (2-6, 2-4 AE) split its home series against Hartford last weekend, dropping the opener 65-54 before bouncing back to win the finale 52-44. Sophomore guard Denai Bowman tied her career high with 22 points to go along with five rebounds and a pair of steals in the victory. Sophomore forward Clare Traeger averaged 10.0 rebounds in the pair of games.

- Bowman ranks second in the America East in scoring (13.5 ppg.), fifth in field goal percentage (.432), is tied for sixth in steals (1.4) and is tied for ninth in assists (2.4 apg.). Senior forward Kaylee Wasco is No. 10 in scoring (11.3 ppg.) Traeger is fifth in rebounds (7.0 rpg.) and is also tied for sixth in steals (1.4 spg.)

- New Hampshire (2-7, 2-4 AE) split its home series against Maine last weekend, winning 58-57 last Saturday before losing 76-56 on Sunday. Amanda Torres averaged 15.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.5 steals in the pair of games. 

-  Torres currently ranks sixth in the America East in scoring (12.9 ppg.), fourth with 3.0 assists per game and is second in steals (1.9 spg.). Elena Dellaruelle is No. 10 in the conference in rebounds (6.3 rpg.). Bowman averaged 8.7 points in a reserve role.

- Binghamton leads the all-time series 24-17, having swept all three meetings last season. Most recently, the Bearcats won 52-41 in the America East quarterfinals at the Events Center last March 4.

- In conference games, Bowman is averaging 12.8 ppg. followed by Wasco (10.5 ppg.) and sophomore forward Birna Benonysdottir (10.5 ppg.).
